disclosure policy

This blog is a collaborative blog written by myself and my spouse. This blog does not accept any form of cash advertising, sponsorship, or paid topic insertions. However, we will and do accept and keep free products, services, travel, event tickets, and other forms of compensation from companies and organizations.

The compensation received will never influence the content, topics or posts made in this blog. All advertising is in the form of advertisements generated by a third party ad network. Those advertisements will be identified as paid advertisements.

The owner(s) of this blog is not compensated to provide opinion on products, services, websites and various other topics. The views and opinions expressed on this blog are purely the blog owners. If we claim or appear to be experts on a certain topic or product or service area, we will only endorse products or services that we believe, based on our expertise, are worthy of such endorsement. Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer or provider. In compliance with FTC guidelines, please assume any/all of the links on therinkyDINKlife.com are affiliate links of which I receive a small compensation from sales of certain items.

What are affiliate links?
Purchases are made on external affiliate company websites: When a reader clicks on an affiliate link located on therinkyDINKlife.com to purchase an item, the reader buys the item from the seller directly (not from The Rinky-DINK Life).

Amazon and/or other companies pay The Rinky-DINK Life a small commission or other compensation for promoting their website or products through their affiliate program.

Prices are exactly the same for you if your purchase is through an affiliate link or a non-affiliate link. You will not pay more by clicking through to the link.

The Rinky-DINK Life is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon properties including, but not limited to, amazon.com, endless.com, myhabit.com, smallparts.com, or amazonwireless.com. Amazon offers a small commission on products sold through their affiliate links. Each of your purchases via our Amazon affiliation links supports our cause at no additional cost to you.

If a blogger links to an Amazon product (with a special code for affiliates embedded in the link), and a reader places an item in their “shopping cart” through that link within 24 hours of clicking the link, the blogger gets a small percentage of the sale. Amazon links are not “pay per click.” If you click on the product link and stay around Amazon and purchase something else, however, I will get commission on that sale.

Anytime you see a link that looks like http://astore.amazon.com/…… or www.amazon.com/…. it is an Amazon affiliate link.

At this time, The Rinky-DINK Life does not participate in product affiliate links but this is subject to change.

I only recommend products I use, would use, or would recommend for my friends and families.

This blog does not contain any content which might present a conflict of interest.
